As kids we have no trouble with the nature of reality. We can see anything we want to see; imagine anything that excites us; meet with beings nobody else can see; and do cool stuff that only magicians (and kids) can do!

This much freedom so freaks the adults that they treat it, quite literally, as a disease: it’s like a kind of mental diarrhea or green snot on the brain. You have to clear the “symptoms” for the child to grow up normally.

Then we spend the rest of lives wanting to get back to the playful, interactive reality we knew as kids. Does that make any sense?

How To Think Like Einstein

How to think (not WHAT to think) is what should be taught in schools. Unfortunately they dopn’t teach that. In Medieval times, scholars were required to enrol on the “Trivium” 3-part skills logic, grammar and rhetoric. Today, logic is a lost art. But it’s actually very entertaining and, if I may say, I have done a really good job of examining and taking apart more than half a dozen species of logic and comparing them.

Greatest of all we may call “Einsteinian” logic, in respect to the great man. It defined 20th century thinking, as opposed to previous clumsy logic, such as Aristotelean duality (“You are either with us or against us,” which is nonsense).

Einsteinian logic is characterized by an infinite series of steps, shading from one state to another. It’s BRILLIANT when you gasp it!

Self Remembering

Being aware that you are aware and seeing yourself in play, is a skill George Gurdjieff (1866-1949) called “self remembering” but that may have suffered in translation. The ability to see yourself being yourself has been called “witnessing” or the “observer” phenomenon.

Simple as it sounds it is one of the most profound spiritual abilities, denied all but a very few, who take the trouble to learn it.

We’re Gonna Change The World From The Inside Out!

We do not denigrate existing scriptures but take the view these are over 2,000 years out of date, written by men who knew nothing of computers, cars, television, smartphones, medicines, social media and all the paraphernalia of 21^st-century living.

It is vital we update our experience and strategies, which were evolved for small warlike, desert-bound tribes and serve little today, except to create divisions among Humankind. The world is too far advanced and too crowded to allow such a them-and-us mentality.

So even if the term “New Scriptures” seems a bit arrogant to you, please forgive us. It is that we are tired of hatreds, war and intolerance, tired of the injustices, tired of watching children suffer and perish and sickened by the loss of Mother Nature’s benevolence, not because we consider ourselves “chosen by God”, or any other divisive posture.

Rather, we think of ourselves as smart humans, able to figure our way past most problems and get good—or at least better—outcomes, without having to disadvantage others to do so.

No, not a prayer meeting. In fact not religious at all. But I think in these troubled months, it is right to take time for our deeper souls and reflect on the meaning of life and Being.

I’ve been on a parallel track for many years, healing minds and souls, as well as my medical skills. I have always thought of myself as “healing the world”. I’m a fixer, I fix things!

Well, in these dark and troubled times, it seems obvious the world needs help, for sure. Let’s see what we can do together.

Now this is NOT one of those New Agey get togethers, where we all think positive collective thoughts and the world will come to rights. There’s plenty of that out there.

Instead I shall be sharing deep and useful wisdom, starting with the whole nature of being. As I wrote in by book Medicine Beyond, if our world is truly created from the top down, and not molecules from the bottom up (crazy idea), then we are—we MUST be—non-material spirits: no matter, energy, space or time.

No time means we are immortal, we cannot die, we cannot UN-be! Think about that and you’ll realize that the true nature of being changes EVERYTHING about our world.

Science isn’t anti-spirit. Only scientists are anti-spirit, most of them anyway. But here’s some science that I think of as scripture: it’s a picture of a mammal brain (mouse) a few microns across; alongside a picture rendition of the Cosmos on the vastest possible scale, hundreds of billions of light years across…

They are almost identical! Does that mean the Cosmos is alive and consciously aware? Wouldn’t that be something?

Well, let’s talk about it on Sunday! You will be allowed to speak. Everyone can join in. This is NOT a class, not a sermon! It’s a sharing of knowledge that’s sacred.

24th May 2020: When is the exact moment we die? It's not nearly as simple as stopping breathing. That's a body effect. Death is departure of the spirit, which can take place days before the body stops breathing.

Rightness

Meeting of May 31st 2020. Had to be re-recorded without members participation. The subject is "rightness". You know, the obnoxious righteousness of some people! Still, it's very important to be able to learn to live with it!

Nobody Really Dies

Listen to the attendees discussing experiences around the subject of death and dying... but in which we are aware that we don't "die" in the material sense. Things just change. This is the norm, the truth of what happens. But everyone has it drilled and hammered into them that death is the end. It's just not true.
